We close from the evening of Friday 23rd December to the morning of Wed 28th.
We will then be closed from evening of Friday 30th December until morning of Tues 02 January.

Ear Wax Removal before Hearing Aid Clinic: In recent months on a number of occasions we have regrettably not been able always to provide an appointment for this. If we are unable to see you to remove any ear wax before your Hearing Aid appointment in Grogan’s Road, some of the Audiology providers are now offering this service also eg Hidden Hearing in Wexford & in Enniscorthy, Doyle Hearing Solutions

- Men’s Development Network– in Waterford since 1997. A wide range of supports & services as well as daily (incl Christmas Day 2-6) Freephone 1800 816 588 National Male Advice Line (MAL) – confidential phoneline advice & support to male victims of domestic violence & abuse.
Raheen Family Resource Centre
….covers the catchment areas of Raheen, Clonroche, Newbawn, Adamstown, Cushinstown, Rathgarogue, & Terrerath.
Services include Men’s Shed, Meals on Wheels, Counselling, Food Hampers, Family Support Drop-in Service, & Day Centre.

Silver Cloud CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy)
This is an online Mental Health support regarding which I have had positive feedback from patients. It is provided with no charge by the HSE & at present tailored towards Depression & Anxiety. Further information available here .
Living Well Workshops
This is a free group programme (provided by the HSE) which runs online or in some centres for 6 weeks as a 2 & a half hour weekly workshop. It is for anyone aged over 18 with at least one longterm health condition, or their Carer. It’s not suitable for anyone with significant memory or learning difficulties.

While the HSE is providing it with no charge to all children, it is particularly important if your child has any underlying conditions. More information available here .

The HSE is carrying out Flu Vaccinations this year for all who are housebound. If you have not been contacted by us or the HSE regarding same, please ring us if you need to discuss.
Don’t forget the Pneumococcal/’pneumonia’ vaccine either! Info available here.
Are you up-to-date with your Covid-19 Vaccine?
Booster vaccine doses are now being offered by the HSE. Please click here for more information. We are not partaking in the Covid-19 Vaccination Programme here at present.
You need to wait until after 4 months since your last COVID-19 vaccine or if you had Covid infection.
1st booster dose is now being offered to
- all aged 12 & older & also
- those with a weak immune system in the 5-11years old group.
2nd Booster dose is now available if you are:
- age 50 to 64
- 12 or older with a condition that puts you at high risk of serious illness from COVID-19 – for example, diabetes, asthma or heart disease
- pregnant (from 16 weeks)
- a healthcare worker – bring your work ID or a letter as proof of employment
- 12 or older living in a long-term care facility – this will be given where you live
